The Edelweiss straight razor series has been an integral part of historical Boker straight razor production since the 1920s. Even today, we and a few lucky collectors have absolutely new straight razors from this series from times long past. The ornate Edelweiss lettering on the nickel silver inlay, which is painstakingly handcrafted into the high-quality, ivory-like plastic handle, combined with the original blade etching on the partially polished blade, gives this knife its special character. Similar to the historical models, the grip area of the blade is only serrated on the upper side. The third decorative rivet gives the handle additional stability and of course corresponds to the historical series in the original. As with all straight razors from Boker Messermanufaktur, the blade is ground extremely thin (for sound) and enables a gentle and clean shave at all times. Incl. classic blade stamp. Delivered with a certificate of authenticity in historical packaging.
The Special Edition not only stands out because of the Spanish head, but also because of the blade, which is partially refined with 24-carat gold. The entire back of the blade and filigree parts of the historic blade etching have been gold-plated and raise this knife to a previously unknown level. The 5/8" blade made of the best Solingen straight razor steel (particularly edge-retaining, not rustproof) has the traditional Spanish point and is, of course, ground extra hollow with a wall.
