Since the establishment of Böker in 1969, the cutler manufacture of Solingen pays special attention to using only the best materials and producing high quality products. In reminiscence of the dukedom Berg in North Rhine-Westphalia close to the head office of the company, Böker devoted a whole straight razor series to the legendary count von Berg. With its time-consuming polishing, the impressive decorations of 24 carat gold and the hand-selected horn cases with additional decorative rivets, the masterpieces symbolize the life of the powerful counts and make aware of all precious belongings.

The Böker straight razors of non-stainless carbon steel offer best cutting properties and also easy re-sharpening characteristics and stay unsurpassed in their sharpness. For the grip plates only natural horn is used, which makes every straight razor to a unique original due to its individual marking and color.
All Böker straight razors are polished exclusively hollow with rampart. Only with rampart the blades can be sharpened to this extent and still stay elastic. Worldwide only the best and highly specialized grinders master the premium class of the straight razor manufacture.
