Truefitts’ first citrus fragrances were originally formulated in the 1870’s and quickly became a favourite of Queen Victoria as well as the gentleman and ladies of her court. The Imperial Bouquet was specifically blended for Queen Victoria by Truefitts’ perfumers in 1876 to celebrate her being crowned Empress of India. It was a floral fougere with zesty and exotic top notes of citrus and orange blossom from which the present day West Indian Limes fragrance evolved. West Indian Limes has lively top notes of lime, lemon, and bergamot combined with a heart of petit grain, neroli and citronella resting on base notes of orange-flower and clove. Spray-on and refresh.
The cologne can be used as a refreshing body splash or after shaving and it can also be added to the water when bathing. Has a tropical citrus essence that invites to comparisons with the Caribbean.
